Welcome to Amber’s Hope Maternity Home!
Located in Barrhead Alberta, we offer supportive housing and meaningful programming to women and their children facing a crisis during or after pregnancy. Women can stay up to 1 year, receiving access to 24-hour support, programs and resources that help to build resilience and stability in their lives.

Amber’s Hope is a Board run charity that strives to see health and independence restored.
We offer a supportive home environment to women and their children, where they can feel safe and secure. We inspire hope and share God’s love with each woman that walks through our doors.

Tina*, and her two little ones needed a safe place to live. We were able to welcome her and her babies into our home quickly. Tina was eager to engage—she embraced the structure of the program and immediately began working on her Personal Life Plan. She participated in Brightcourse educational modules daily—often going beyond the required sessions simply because she was excited by what she was learning. Tina became a leader in the home, sharing insights with peers, family, and friends. Just five months later, she completed the program with enough credits to qualify for graduation—and is on track to Graduate with Excellence.
Her story is a first of many families that we hope to impact in the coming years. We are reminded that when women are equipped to heal and grow, entire communities are strengthened. These women become powerful agents of change, transforming not only their own lives, but contributing to the fabric of a more compassionate and resilient community.
