Amber’s Hope offers long term supportive housing to women and their children facing a crisis during or after pregnancy. We provide round-the-clock access to supportive care.

Faith Based Support

What does that mean?! We are a Christian Charity made up of individuals who have personally experienced a good and loving Heavenly Father and we desire to share that love with others.

Amber’s Hope Maternity Home is a Christian ministry dedicated to walking alongside pregnant women, new mothers, and their children as they move from crisis toward hope, healing, and independence. Founded in response to a clear gap in supportive housing for vulnerable mothers, our organization exists to provide safe, long-term housing and compassionate care to women facing trauma, poverty, violence, and housing instability.

 

Through our close connection with the Barrhead Pregnancy Care Centre, we encountered women navigating crisis pregnancies while living in unsafe or unstable situations, often feeling they had no safe or life-affirming alternatives. These experiences revealed the urgent need for a place where women could be supported, protected, and encouraged to choose a path forward rooted in hope and stability. Our goal is to help women recognize their God-given worth, break harmful cycles, strengthen their families, and build healthy, stable futures for themselves and their children.

 

Through the love of Christ, faith-rooted community, and practical support, we seek not only to meet urgent physical needs but also to nurture emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being.

We fulfill this mission through a continuum of care that supports women during and after pregnancy in some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. Our work is centered on creating a safe and stable environment where women can heal from past trauma, grow in life and parenting skills, and move toward greater independence with the support of trained staff, churches, and community partners.

 

At the heart of this work is our residential maternity home, where women and their children receive family-style housing, trauma-informed support, mentorship, life-skills development, parenting education, and individualized goal-setting that prepares them for the next stage of life. At the same time, our ministry extends beyond shelter itself by connecting women to a broader circle of practical, relational, and spiritual support within the community.
